The warm color palate of this traditional Ohio kitchen remodel was inspired by the soft creams and cocoa colored veins in the granite countertops. Classic cream painted cabinets by Holiday kitchens were chosen as a canvas to accompany darker accent colors. The painted cabinets received a mink wash to create more definition in the raised panel door style, which also complimented the oil rubbed bronze hardware, faucet and chandeliers above the island. Rich cherry stained cabinets were selected for the island to create a stunning feature for this kitchen. All of the cabinet doors were inset for a high end furniture look. Viking stainless steel appliances were chosen for their quality and the refrigerator and dishwasher received appliance panels to maintain the look of furniture. The Sharp microwave drawer was also added to allow for more counter space. Lastly, a different texture was added to the design by stacking stone around the hood as a second feature and a travertine tile backsplash was installed next to the polished granite countertop.
