Gray cabinets have grown in popularity over the years. Here at Kitchen Kraft we notice our gray showroom walls growing in popularity as well. Clients are constantly asking about the color because it helps make their cabinets stand out. In addition to using gray in their kitchen and bathroom remodeling, we have also noticed clients incorporating gray in their bedroom and living spaces.
Gray in the bedroom can be very soothing. Where else would you put relaxing colors? Gray is being utilized more and more in bathrooms, and because it can be used as a neutral color people are tying their master bath and bedroom spaces together. The same can be said for the flow of kitchen, dining and living spaces. Homeowners are looking to create entertaining and combining spaces. One challenge homeowner’s face is which color can give their new combined space a seamless look. Many homeowners are turning to the gray color palatte. Gray is considered both classical and contemporary and can be applied to several design concepts with a wide variety of accent colors to choose from.
One of our cabinet manufacturers, Grabill Cabinets, said it best: “Gray and its many shades has taken off as a new neutral for many designs, either as an overall color scheme or as an accent in providing a more contemporary, understated edge to a design.” In response to the demand for gray cabinets and incorporating gray into kitchen and bathroom remodeling Grabill created 10 gray sample colors.
